Why tism exists
There are two scenarios for every autism family in the US: either your kid is in a specialized school and HIPAA keeps you walled off from the other families, or your kid is NOT in a specialized school and you're completely alone.
Both paths end in isolation -- for the parents AND their children. There is zero centralization for this community. None.
tism doesn't fix anything. There is nothing to fix. It gives space to the ones we love to be themselves -- and makes sure they don't have to do it alone.
