• Video Transcription: WhisperKit (on-device audio transcription - data never leaves your device)
• Push Notifications: Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)
• Analytics Services: Usage tracking, crash reporting, and performance monitoring
• Advertising Attribution: TikTok Business SDK (for measuring ad campaign effectiveness)

These services may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies. Note that WhisperKit processes all video transcription locally on your device - no video or audio data is sent to external servers.

Advertising and Tracking

Or4cl3 uses the TikTok Business SDK to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This helps us understand how users discover our app.

What We Collect for Advertising

• Device Identifier (IDFA): With your permission, we collect Apple's Identifier for Advertisers to attribute app installs to specific ad campaigns
• App Events: App launches, registrations, and subscription purchases are reported to TikTok for ad attribution

Your Tracking Choices

When you first open Or4cl3, iOS will ask for your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. You can:

• Allow Tracking: Enables ad attribution so we can measure campaign effectiveness
• Ask App Not to Track: Disables IDFA collection; the app works fully without tracking

You can change this choice anytime in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Data Shared with TikTok

When tracking is enabled, the following data may be shared with TikTok:

• Device identifier (IDFA)
• App install and launch events
• Registration and subscription events (no personal details, just that the event occurred)
• IP address and device type

This data is used solely for advertising attribution and is subject to TikTok's Privacy Policy.

How We Protect Your Privacy

Automatic Anonymization Technology

Or4cl3 uses cutting-edge anonymization technology to protect your personal information when generating astrological insights. This system is always active and cannot be disabled — privacy protection is built into the core of our app.

What AI Receives from Or4cl3

When you use the Or4cl3 feature (AI-powered insights), we send the following anonymized data to our AI provider:

• Anonymous identifiers instead of real names (e.g., "PERSON_1", "CHILD_2")
• Age in years instead of exact birthdates (e.g., "5 years", not "May 15, 2020")
• Astronomical calculations like planetary positions, houses, and aspects
• Relationship types like "Daughter", "Partner", "Self"
• Your anonymized questions with family member names replaced by codes

What AI Never Receives

The following personal information never leaves your device in an identifiable form:

• ❌ Real names (yours or family members')
• ❌ Exact birthdates (month, day, year, time)
• ❌ Birth locations or addresses
• ❌ GPS coordinates
• ❌ Any information that could identify you or your family

How It Works: The Anonymization Process

Here's what happens behind the scenes when you ask the Or4cl3 a question:

1. You type: "What are Emma's transits today?"
2. Or4cl3 automatically replaces "Emma" with an anonymous code: "What are CHILD_1's transits today?"
3. The AI receives only the anonymized question and astronomical data for "CHILD_1"
4. The AI generates insights based on the astronomical calculations
5. Or4cl3 replaces "CHILD_1" with "Emma" before showing you the response
6. You see a personalized response without your data ever being exposed

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We provide extra protection for children under 13, exceeding the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• Children are automatically identified and given special anonymous codes (CHILD_1, CHILD_2, etc.)
• Zero personal information about children is transmitted to third parties
• Parents have full control over all family member data through the app
• This protection is mandatory and cannot be disabled

Our AI Provider

We currently use the following AI service, which receives only anonymized data:

• DeepSeek AI (default): Receives anonymous codes, ages, and astronomical data

Future option: Advanced users will be able to use their own OpenAI or Anthropic API keys with the same privacy protections automatically applied.

Data Storage

• On Your Device: All personal information (names, birthdates, locations) is stored locally using Apple's secure storage (SwiftData)
• In the Cloud (Supabase): The following data syncs to our cloud servers:
  • Oracle conversation history (with anonymized names)
  • Subscription status and usage tracking
  • Video transcripts (cached for 90 days)
  • Content creator @usernames from videos
  • Push notification device tokens (if enabled)
  • Family member astronomical data (anonymized)
• With AI Providers: Nothing is stored — data is processed and immediately discarded

Video Analysis Feature

Or4cl3 includes a video analysis feature that allows you to upload astrology videos (such as TikTok or Instagram Reels) for personalized analysis against your birth chart.

How Video Processing Works

1. You select a video from your device's photo library
2. The video is transcribed entirely on your device using WhisperKit (no audio/video sent to servers)
3. Our OCR technology extracts the content creator's public @username from the video
4. The text transcript is sent to our AI for astrological analysis
5. The original video is deleted from app memory within 24 hours

What We Store From Videos

• Text Transcript: Cached for 90 days to avoid re-processing the same video
• Creator Username: The public @username of the content creator (for analytics)
• Analysis Count: How many users have analyzed videos from this creator

We do NOT store the actual video file, audio, or any visual content on our servers.

Content Creator Data

We collect publicly visible @usernames from videos you upload to:

• Provide trending creator analytics
• Help users discover popular astrology content
• Improve our video analysis features

This is public information visible on the original social media platform. We do not collect private account data.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we collect and store:

• Device Token: A unique identifier provided by Apple to send notifications to your device
• Notification Preferences: Your settings for which types of notifications you want to receive

You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's Settings app. We will delete your device token within 30 days of disabling notifications.

In-App Purchases

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple's App Store
• We do not have access to your payment information
• Purchase history is managed by Apple

Children's Privacy

Or4cl3 is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. The app requires users to input birth information, which parents should supervise for young children.

Data Deletion

You have multiple options to delete your data:

Delete Your Account (Recommended)

To delete your account and all associated data from our servers:

1. Open Or4cl3 and go to Settings
2. Tap Account
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion

This will permanently delete your account, all family member data, Oracle conversations, video transcripts, and usage data from our servers within 30 days.

Delete the App

To remove all local data from your device:

1. Press and hold the Or4cl3 app icon
2. Tap "Remove App" or "Delete App"
3. Confirm deletion

Note: Deleting the app removes local data but does NOT delete your account from our servers. Use the in-app "Delete Account" feature for complete data removal.

Delete Individual Family Members

You can delete individual family members within the app's Family tab without deleting your entire account.

Your Rights

General Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information stored in the app
• Correct any inaccurate information
• Delete your information at any time
• Use the app without providing real names (you can use initials or nicknames)

GDPR & CCPA Rights

If you are located in the European Union, California, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, you have additional rights:
